Will it work with my phone?

Yes: any iPhone or Android phone. Use a MagSafe case, or stick the magnetic ring from the box on your case. The app is free on the App Store and Google Play.

Does it lock my phone or block apps?

No. You pick the phone up whenever you want, and the count stops. On Android you can choose to let ZUZA turn on Do Not Disturb while the phone rests and turn it back off when you pick it up. It is off unless you turn it on. On iPhone, Apple does not let apps do this.

Does it need drilling?

No. The plate comes with 3M adhesive, an international standard. Stick it on the doorframe; when you want it off, peel slowly as the kit instructions say, and it leaves no mark.

How many phones per plate?

One plate, one phone. A home with several phones gets a plate for each.

What if I need to be reachable?

Pick it up. Nothing is locked, and the phone is at the door, not in a safe. The count pauses and starts again when you set it down.

Is there a subscription?

No. You pay once for the kit. The app is free, with no subscription and no extra charges.

What does the app keep?

Your email, the name you gave, your doors, and the history of docks and pickups: when the phone was set down and when it was picked up. That is all.

Why pay for a magnetic plate?

You are not paying for a magnet. You are paying for a fixed spot at the door that the whole house knows, and an app that counts on its own how long the phone waited there. A fridge magnet does not do that.

Five minutes to install, an hour to set

Wipe the doorframe. Pick a spot at shoulder height.
Peel the backing off the tape, press the plate on, and hold firmly for 30 seconds.
Stick the ring to your phone or case. Center it.
Wait an hour for the tape to set, then walk in and set the phone down.
Open the app. ZUZA counts how long your phone rests there.
